Meet The Artist

Hey, I’m Sophie, a London-based illustrator currently in my final year at Nottingham Trent University. My work centres around visual storytelling and creating immersive experiences through children’s illustration, experiential design, and commercial artwork.

I’m particularly drawn to themes of wonder, nostalgia, and emotional connection, often taking inspiration from theatre, travel, and the natural world. Growing up in a creative and performance-led family sparked my love for storytelling from an early age, while my interest in research and observation continues to shape my thoughtful and process-driven approach to design.

Working primarily with watercolour and ink alongside digital techniques, I enjoy combining traditional and contemporary methods to create expressive and atmospheric outcomes. Across all of my work, my main aim is to spark wonder and curiosity in audiences of all ages, inviting them into imaginative and meaningful worlds through storytelling and visual experience.
